my friend Kelly recently introduced me to Facebook. Facebook is, according to their website, a social utility that connects you with the people around you. Facebook is made up of many networks, each based around a workplace, region, high school or college.
You can use Facebook to:
share information with people you know
see what's going on with your friends
look up people around you
I think Facebook is a fantastic way to meet up with old friends who you haven't seen for years. I actually connected with a really great friend from elementary school who I hadn't seen in close to 15 years and who I always wondered about. It's wonderful to be able to catch up on old times, and to hopefully reconnect and make some new memories together.
But be warned, Facebook will take from you countless hours of your life that you'll never get back. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
tales from the litterbox
A plethora of unwanted facts, or a wealth of useless knowledge. Maybe just everyday oddities. Will I be crafty enough to pull it all off?
