spring!

Today is the first day of spring (at 8:07 pm) and I for one, could not be more excited! Although I have always been a fan of winter, this year I did not get to do most of the winter things that I enjoy. We tried to go skating but Mike lost his skates, we didn't get to the hills to toboggan, and regretfully, we never built a snowman. I did, however, get the classic ever loved snow face wash.

There are already signs of spring all around. The tulips have started to poke their heads out of the frozen ground and just yesterday, we spotted the first two robins of the year in our yard. I'm looking forward to seeing all the beautiful spring flowers in bloom and the animals emerging from their winter slumber.
