corn nuts vs chip nuts

Corn Nuts are super-crunchy giant corn kernels toasted and seasoned to perfection. They come in several different flavours and can be bought in bulk or packaged at numerous locations. They even have their own website.

Chip Nuts are cocktail peanuts in a crispy potato shell. They also come in several different flavours but are much harder to find. I know of only one place in the Niagara Region to purchase this tasty treat.

Lately, I have been obsessed with Corn Nuts. I rather enjoy the barbeque flavour which can be found at the Bulk Barn. Also, I do have a package of chip nuts (all dressed) and recently introduced some american friends to them. I think they were impressed with them, and how could you not be. They're peanuts covered with chips! Who is the genius who thought up that one.

So, in conclusion, I give round one in the battle of the bite size snacks to the Corn Nut.
